ATHEROSCLEROSIS refer to hardening plaque and narrowing of the arteries which silently and slowly blocks arteries by putting blood flow at risk. It’s the usual cause of Heart Attacks, Strokes, and Peripheral Vascular Disease. Together they are called CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES.
